Marco Monza

Junior Partner

Born on May 22, 1986 in Merate (LC).

Graduate in law with honors at the university of Milan – Bicocca with a thesis on “The Abuse of Jurisprudence in Tax Matters” (Supervisor Professor Francesco Thesauro).

After attending the IPSOA master on tax he was admitted to practice at K Studio Associato (KPMG International).

He joined the Law Firm Colaianni in March 2015 where his main practice areas are tax disputes and criminal tax law.

From 2015 he is participating on drafting the “Register of the Decisions of the Tax Commissions of the Lombardy Region” and from 2016 he is a member of the Center for Criminal Tax Law.

He is co-author of the “Commentary to articles 13 and 13 bis of Law Decree 74/2000, amended by Law Decree 158/2015 concerning “The New Tax Crimes”, a co-work under the supervision of Professor Ivo Caraccioli and published by Giuffrè Editore, as well as of the article “The issue of the conflict between the international ne bis in idem principle and the double tax penalty “The path of the principle towards the eclipse?” published by Rivista del Diritto Tributario (Tax Law Journal).
